Hot Stone Tsukemen in Manchester’s Chinatown – Taisho Ramen

The only tsukemen in Manchester 🍜

Taisho Ramen is the only spot in Manchester that does tsukemen, so when the invite came through, I had to give it a try! Unlike the usual ramen, the noodles and broth come separately, so you dip the noodles into the broth as you eat.

The broth here comes in a hot stone bowl, which keeps it boiling hot the whole way through, and I love that. It’s so rich and comforting, just what I want when the weather starts getting a little chilly.

There’s plenty more on the menu too, and my favourite was definitely the tako wasabi. They also do a few matcha-themed dishes like the matcha ramen and their matcha beer, which are worth a go if you’re feeling adventurous.

They’re on the first floor in Chinatown, so definitely worth popping in if you’re around the area!
